Nick Pecoraro

Instructor

Nick Pecoraro

Nick is an avid shooter, having his first experience with firearms at the tender age of eight years old. He began participating in firearms competitions at the age of 22 and has also helped officiate and score matches.

Nick is a third generation police officer and a member of his agency’s SWAT team. When not involved in patrol or instruction, Nick spends time practicing and attending training related to all aspects of his job, not just firearms. Such training includes Counter Terrorism and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (the civilianized variant of Tactical Combat Casualty Care, pioneered in the military.)

Today Nick is still a full time active duty police officer tasked with instructing at the academy.

During his time at the Academy he was selected to be the range coordinator/range master. His certifications include duty pistol, rifle, and submachine gun. He still participates in SWAT callouts and training, and has been instrumental in revamping his own agency’s SWAT training and practices.
